Software Developer Intern
Job Type: Internship

Responsibilities
• Works with custom developed software applications, SQL based databases and development operation tools. 
• Responsibilities will include learning PHP, BitBucket, Jira, SQLDeveloper, ITGCs, and SOx compliance while performing code based software changes as directed. 
• Follow written and verbal instructions; 
• Effectively communicate orally and in writing; 
• Work safely and abide by workplace rules; 
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Major/Minor/Concentration and/or prior experience in a degree related to computer engineering or software engineering;

Data Science Intern (Software Engineer)
Job Type: Internship
Location:  Salt Lake City, UT
Responsibilities
• Products – you will work to contribute software engineering skills and expertise to data science (e.g., explainable AI) and Health Catalyst (e.g., Patient Safety Monitor) products. This will include collaborating with the data science team and other product teams in various roles.
• User Experience – You’ll have the opportunity to participate in user testing with the Analytic Services Organization to understand how they use the products that you are improving.
• Strategy – Participation in the development of strategy for integration of data science offerings across products within Health Catalyst that have different technical standards/frameworks.

• Maintain existing code and functionality once it is assimilated into ongoing operations.  
• An interest in sharing knowledge about new technologies with the team and facilitating the implementation of such technologies across projects. 
• Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; talks and acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

Qualifications

MARKETING ANALYST INTERN

Responsibilities
• Manage company website, maintain social media platforms including Facebook, Linkedin, Wechat, etc.
• Assist with email campaign and direct mail campaign

Marketing Analyst Intern
Job Type: Internship
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Responsibilities
• Assist with lead generation by researching and qualifying high potential customers, contacts and market events to drive opportunities and sales
• Perform administrative, data entry and quality control functions in the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) instance
• Generate reports, dashboards and data visualizations to track and report key performance indicator (KPI) results
• Perform data quality, accuracy and maintenance activities; assist with data migration and user compliance

Responsibilities
• Work closely with CRM and marketing automation ops leaders across the enterprise to ensure the availability and accuracy of marketing-critical data
• Coordinate with our Marketing Analytics Manager to supercharge—enrich, normalize, and transform—our data, while delivering dashboards and reports
• Enrich marketing and operational data for strategic targeting and segmenting, collect publicly available online data, and manipulate complex data sets to support marketing communications, event, field, channel and product marketing teams across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and South America
• Help marketing managers understand the numbers behind their marketing activities (quantitative analysis) and what those numbers really mean (qualitative analysis)

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; 1-2 years exp with a data-driven mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• A detail-oriented team player with insatiable curiosity and a love of scripting
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel is essential; good working knowledge Python is desired but not required
• Data visualization experience (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.) is a plus
