| Responsibilities • Analyzing current and past financial data and performance • Preparing reports and company projections based on this analysis • Coordinating review financial information and forecasts with appropriate budget owners • Identifying trends in financial performance and projecting future results based on those trends • Assisting with monthly, sales forecasting, annual budget process and quarterly budget updates • Developing recommendations for selling price of new products • Developing, updating and managing financial models measuring profitability and ROI potential • Evaluating promotional activity, trends and returns on investment (ROI) • Guides cost analysis process by establishing policies and procedures • Generating reports based on financial information • Providing recommendations for improvement in budget process • Demonstrate appropriate understanding and working knowledge of accounting principles and apply them Qualifications • 1+ years of experience in forecasting and budgeting • 1+ years of experience in statistical analysis • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications • Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques • Must be able to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment • Demonstrates strong attention to detail • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner • Collaborates with other employees within the organization • Speaks clearly and communicates findings well • Understands business strategies and goals • Aligns work with strategic goals • Adapts to changes in the work environment • Thorough understanding of GAAP |
